Part IV. Narrative Description of Activities:

 

Antioch Bridges International (ABI) is a non-profit corporation incorporated in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania to encourage, educate and train leaders on how to positively impact their community, country, and world, following the Christian principles of the great commission that Jesus Christ gave – go into all the world and make disciples.  ABI’s past, present and planned main activities are centered by the following four missions: 1.) To seek for, and to mentor indigenous leaders; 2.) To encourage, equip, and empower leaders for bringing effective influences to their communities according to their vision and strength; 3.) To network various human, material, or financial resources for the accomplishment of strategic micro economic plans; 4.) To educate, motivate and facilitate people to expand their economic relevance from their local region to the Global community.

 

1.)     To seek for and to mentor indigenous leaders.  Throughout the year, to fulfill our mission and purpose, the Executive Director of ABI devotes about 20% of his time and about 20% of ABI’s contributed funds (mainly from general public) to:

a.       identify leaders through meetings and referrals throughout the world, but targeted initially in areas of familiarity, contact and need.

b.       build relationships with these identified leaders through follow up and additional contact.

c.       provide ongoing advise and counsel to the identified leaders regarding the development of leadership skills

2.)     To encourage, equip, and empower leaders for bringing effective influences to their communities according to their vision and strength. Throughout the year, to fulfill our mission and purpose, the Executive Director of ABI devotes about 25% of time and about 20% of funds contributed from the general public to:

a.       Conduct strategic planning with leaders

b.       Conduct specific trainings with leaders with the assistance of other volunteer experts

3.)     To network various human, material, or financial resources for the accomplishment of strategic micro-economic plans.  Throughout the year, to fulfill our mission and purpose, the Executive Director of ABI devotes about 35% of time and about 40% of funds contributed from the general public to:

a.       Learn of specific human, material and financial needs related to ideas for improving communities and quality of life through research and reconnaissance in these areas.

b.       Identify needed resources and begin to search the ABI network of resource providers (volunteer experts, etc.) as well as teach leaders to match resources with needs (teach networking)

4.)     To educate, motivate and facilitate people to expand their economic relevance from their local region to the Global community.  Throughout the year to fulfill our purpose and mission, the Executive Director of ABI devotes about 20% of time and about 20% of funds contributed from the general public

a.       Help develop awareness of needs for products and services and through teaching, training and presentation of related projects as case studies or examples to inspire and follow, and teach how to plan.
