New Opportunities: Get Involved!
Servant workers Needed:
There are tens of thousands of workers coming from extremely low income villages in China to metropolitan cities and big factories to work every year. These workers are mostly young (from 18-25 years of age).  Many of them are behind in education, lack of social experience, and are desperate to make money to support their families.  You can imagine culture shock they’re experiencing every day.

They suddenly encounter a world full of material and physical temptations.  They came from no money to making a certain amount of income which needs to be carefully managed so they can use it for living, for supporting their families, and some social activities.  They have a whole new social life with all of its mixed emotions.  They miss their families they left behind and they seek to comfort the loneliness with these new social opportunities.

Without knowledge and accountability to protect them, they are especially vulnerable to opposite sex relationships, which may lead to consequences they would regret for their entire lives.  These young people are overwhelmed with trying to survive amid their day to day struggles, they are unable and do not know how to make plans for the future.

The Need:

ABI is in relationship with a consulting company that has connections with companies wanting to reach out and help their new employees.  There are several specific areas of need:  financial management, conflict management, emotional support and counseling, social and relationship counseling, career planning, environment transition adjustment counseling, sex and relationship education.  Counseling programs will be designed with these needs in mind.

The Strategy:

There will be contracts made by ABI with the companies. It is through the contracts that the services of counseling to the ground-level employees will be provided.

ABI will need to recruit qualified people with mature character and spiritual life, provide training/equipping materials and the training program for the voluntary counselors, and then send them into the field in for short or long-term service.

In order to control the quality of the services, an application process and personal interview will be necessary before each counseling position is approved.

There is no set timeline yet as connections and plans are still being developed.  If you have interest in this ministry opportunity, contact Sheng Tung at firefollowed@hotmail.com.

Pray:  You can go to the News page, Acts 29 page, Pictures page, look and pray according to what the Holy Spirit directs in your heart.

You can also pray when Sheng-Tung or Joy Wu's itineraries are posted.  Put the schedule in your prayer calendar, pray when God is on the move with their consulting, ministering, teaching, praying, coaching, connecting, counseling, ...

Make Contact:  You can email, asking questions or sharing confirmation of things in your heart that are aligned with what the Holy Spirit has spoken or led us in sharing and doing.

You can inquire about opportunities for short-term or long-term missions in a foreign country with which ABI has a connection.

You can ask Sheng-Tung to send you the latest messages he has received from the Lord as well as updated activities through the ABI news letter 'Bridges Voice'.

You can subscribe to the Podcast and listen to messages (in Mandarin Chinese) on the Audio Teachings page.

Invest with finances:
As God's work is constantly expanding, there are tremendous increasees for financial needs both in the field and in the base.  The base is the basic needs of the Wu family, operation expenses including travel, publicity (website maintainance, newsletter printing and mailing, postage, phone and internet communications) and other administrative expenses.

Your financial involvement will not only bless the part of the Kingdom God that God has blessed me with, but it will also be multiplied, both in the field and back into your own base.

Checks can be made out to "Antioch Bridges International."
